Child Safety

Mazda company strongly recommends that you use when transporting young children in the car special restraints to ensure passive safety of children.
We recommend the use of child restraints original mark Mazda or similar products that meet the requirements of European Regulation ECE R44. If you want to buy original child restraint Mazda, contact your dealer Mazda.
Check the requirements of the regulations in your country relating to the safety of young children when transporting in a vehicle.
Regardless of the brand used by the child restraint it must meet the age and growth of the child. When installing and operating the child restraint, comply with existing rules and follow all manufacturer's instructions that are attached to a particular product. If a child has outgrown a child restraint, it must be placed in the rear seat and be wearing a seat belt.
Child restraints must be installed in the rear seat.
Statistical data show that the safest place for children under the age of 12 is a rear seat.
This particularly applies to vehicles equipped with airbags. NEVER installed on the front passenger seat Child restraint devices, in which the child is oriented facing backwards if the front passenger airbag is not disabled. The front passenger seat is the least suitable place for the installation of other types of child restraints. Some cars equipped with the switch is designed to turn off the front passenger airbags (optional).
