Installation of child restraints to the standard ISOFIX attachment



Your Mazda car is equipped with standard mounting brackets ISOFIX, which are designed for the installation of the original Mazda child restraint on the outer rear seats.

1. Move the front passenger seat in its rearmost position. Then, move the seat forward, not less than 100 mm to the seat was in the middle of the range of longitudinal adjustment. This will provide enough space for the installation of child restraint (Fig. 1.145).
2. Ensure secure the seat back. To do this, click on the back of the seat back until it engages.

3. Slightly open the gap between the seat cushion and seat back to provide access to the mounting brackets ISOFIX (Fig. 1.146).

NOTE
Marking located on the backside of the seat, indicating the location of the mounting brackets ISOFIX, designed for the installation of child restraints.

Secure the child restraint to the brackets ISOFIX, following the instructions of the manufacturer of a particular product.
If the child restraint is equipped with upper mounting strap, then the passive safety of the child is very important to properly secure the strap. By setting the upper strap, strictly follow the instructions of the manufacturer of the child restraint.
