Warning light air bag and seat belt pretensioners



If the system of airbags and seat belt pretensioners on the front seats are in good condition, the warning light should come on when you turn the ignition switch to ?�ON?� (ignition switched on) or when the starter. Then, after some time, alarm goes off.
If the light stays on, or does not turn on when you turn the ignition switch to ?�ON?� (ignition switched on), this indicates a system fault airbags or pretensioners. In this case, immediately, as soon as possible, consult your dealer or qualified Mazda. If the warning light indicates a malfunction, the airbags or pretensioners may not work when a traffic accident.
If a fault is detected the system airbags / pretensioners and warning lamp lights up, then simultaneously begins to function audible alarm malfunction. Every minute will beep lasting about five seconds.
Audible alarm system malfunction airbags / pretensioners will operate for about 35 minutes.

The driver's seat.

Visual and audible alarms further remind the driver to fasten the seat belt. If the driver's seat belt is not fastened when the ignition switch is in the ?�ON?� (ignition switched on) the warning included a visual and audible alarms, which operate in accordance with the table below (Fig. 1.136).
If you turn on the buzzer, then the seat belt, he would continue to work even if the vehicle speed drops below 20 km / h. Alarm turned off as soon as the seat belt is fastened or after a set time.

The switch can be red or green. If the seat belt is not fastened, the red indicator lights. If the seat belt is buckled, indicator lights green. Visual alarms are working, even if there are no rear-seat passengers. Audible alarm is activated only when unfasten the seat belt fastened.

NOTE
If the seat belts in the back seat will not be fastened within a specified time after the engine starts, all the visual alarms are turned off.
