Installing the headrest into position.

If the center head restraint is not installed in the operating position, the carriage of passengers in a central location in the rear seat is dangerous. In the absence or incorrect adjustment of the head restraint sharp deviation of the head backwards when hitting the car from behind will result in severe neck injuries. The headrest must always be set to working position if the central location is in the back seat passenger. Verify proper installation of the central headrest.

To install the head restraint into the operating position, pull it up until it engages. to lower the head restraint in the off position, press the release button, and then press down on the headrest (Fig. 1.126).
