Upshift manually

In order to switch the transmission to the adjacent higher transfer (with respect to the current program), press the lever backwards ().
If the vehicle is moving slowly, the mission may not switch to the higher transmission (depending on the vehicle speed). If you are in manual mode, the transmission will not switch to higher gears automatically. Do not exceed the allowable rotation of the crankshaft of the engine: the tachometer needle should not go into the red zone of the scale. If the tachometer needle went into the red zone, you can feel the engine braking, because in this case the fuel supply to the engine is stopped. This is provided to protect the engine from damage. However, this does not indicate any malfunction of the car.
