Wiper adjustable pause in the discontinuous mode,

C an adjustable control circuit pause in the discontinuous mode,
Fig. 1.67. The control circuit c adjustable pause in the intermittent operation: 1 - circular controller pause

Install the wiper arm to position ?INT? and select the length of the pause between strokes of the brush, rotating control ring (Fig. 1.67).

Control mode sensitivity of the rain sensor
Fig. 1.68. Control mode sensitivity of the rain sensor 1 - control ring; 2 - rain sensor

Controls exterior lighting and alarms, cleaners and washers of glasses and headlights, electric rear window defogger sensitivity of the rain sensor can be changed by rotating the control ring on the control lever cleaner (Fig. 1.68). From middle position (corresponding to a normal sensor sensitivity), turn to the mark (+) to increase the sensitivity and to the mark (-) - to reduce the sensitivity of the sensor.
The automatic wiper control may not work if the temperature of the rain sensor is about - 10 ? C or less, or about +85 ? C and above. If the windshield is covered with water-repellent composition, the rain sensor may not be able to assess the amount of rainfall on the glass. This can lead to malfunction of the wiper in the automatic mode.
If dirt or other foreign substances (such as ice or road salt particles) have stuck to the windshield of the rain sensor, or windscreen covered with frost, it can cause the wiper switch. However, if the brush cleaner can not remove ice from the glass, dirt or other foreign matter, the automatic wiper control switch off. In such cases, you must enable continuous operation wiper by moving the control lever in the first or second fixed position, or remove the ice, dirt and other debris by hand before returning the wiper to automatic operation.
