Apparatus maintain a constant speed (cruise control)



The system provides a constant predetermined speed (over 40 km / h) if the engine can provide it, and releases from the driver pressing the accelerator pedal.
To activate, press the ?�CRUISE MAIN?� in the instrument panel. To turn off, press again.

A WARNING
Cruise control should not be included in the high-intensity traffic and in adverse road conditions (icy or wet road, gravel surface).

Setting the desired vehicle speed
1. Increase the speed of the vehicle until until it reaches the desired speed (not less than 40 km / h).

2. Press briefly button ?�SET?� at the end of the wiper switch and the washer (Fig. 1.15). Do not hold the button down.
3. Release the accelerator pedal. The set speed is automatically maintained constant.

Increase speed
1. Press the ?�SET?� and hold down - there is a uniform increase in vehicle speed.
2. When you reach the desired speed, release the button.

Reduced speed

1. Turn the button to the left to position ?�COAST?� and hold down the button ?�COAST-RESUME?� switch on the wipers and washer (Fig. 1.16) - speed is gradually reduced.
2. When the desired speed is reached, release the button. Thereafter, a new set speed will be maintained at a constant level.

Shutdown
1. Press the ?�CRUISE MAIN?�, to turn off the device to maintain a constant speed.
2. It is easy to press the brake pedal or the clutch pedal (if the vehicle is equipped with a manual transmission).
3. Set the gear lever (if the car is equipped with an automatic transmission) to position ?�N?�.
4. The apparatus to maintain a constant speed will automatically turn off if the speed is reduced by about 15 km / h below the set speed.

To re-enable at speeds above 40 km / h
In order to get up to speed again, set the last time, turn the ?�COAST-RESUME?� right to position ?�RESUME?� and release it. The car automatically starts to pick up speed until, until you reach the previously set speed. At speeds below
40 km / h maintaining a constant unit velocity will remain off until the vehicle is again attains a speed of 40 km / h. In this case, turn the ?�COAST-RESUME?� back to the right and release it. The car automatically starts to pick up speed until, until you reach the previously set speed and maintain this speed constantly.
