Electronic fuel injection system consists of three subsystems: the power supply system, the air supply system and an electronic control system. Power system The fuel pump pumps the fuel into the fuel reservoir, from where it flows through the injectors into the cylinders. The amount of fuel injected by the injectors is controlled by an electronic control unit. The air supply system The system consists of an air filter, the throttle body, the connecting tube and the inlet air temperature sensor. The electronic control system The electronic control system controls the fuel injection system and other systems by means of an electronic control unit, which receives signals from various sensors, tracking the temperature of the incoming air, the opening angle of the throttle, engine coolant temperature, engine speed, vehicle speed and the content of CO exhaust gases.
Check PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Check the cables and connections are properly grounded. | 2. Check the battery charge. | 3. Check the air filter. | 4. Check the fuses. | | 5. Check the air supply pipe and the intake manifold for leaks. Check for obstruction of air flow pipe and casing throttle. Clean it, if necessary. | | 6. Check the injectors, listening to their work with a stethoscope. | | 7. Check the injectors using a test light bulbs. | | 8. Check the resistance of the injectors. | 9. For a more detailed examination of the system is necessary to address to experts. |
