Fuel Level Sensor



Resistance at the float lever is down (the fuel tank is empty)

Resistance at the lowered float arm should be around 110 ohms.

Resistance at the raised arm of the float (the fuel tank is full)

Resistance at the raised arm of the float should be about 2-4 Ohm.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Cnimite fuel pump and check that the resistance of the sensor changes smoothly when the float is lowered from 110 ohms to about 2-4 ohms.
2. Replace the sensor if necessary.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a connection socket.
2. Remove the retaining nut and remove the gauge.
3. Installation is spent upside-down removals.
