Cleaning and repair of the fuel tank

Any repairs to the tank and the filler neck must be performed by highly qualified personnel with experience in such dangerous and important work.

Even after cleaning and flushing the fuel system can accumulate residual explosive vapors that could ignite during repair of the tank.

If the fuel tank is removed from the car, it should not be stored in places where there is danger of an explosion of vapors by sparks or open flames.

Particular caution observe in the garage with the supply of natural gas, as gas lighting emergency response may be the cause of the explosion.

Removing and installing

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the hose and connect the connector from the fuel pump.
2. Place the jack under the fuel tank.
3. Loosen the hose clamp filler.
4. Disconnect hoses collect fuel vapors from the fuel tank.
5. Remove the screws fixing collars and remove the fuel tank.
6. Installation is spent upside-down removals.
