Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. First of all, check the connection cables and connections. Check the condition of the battery. Check the condition and the tension of the alternator belt. Check the fuse MAIN and ENG INJ in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Check the battery charging signal lamp (disconnect the connector connecting the generator and ground the terminal L to activate the warning light discharge of the battery. Do not ground the terminal S). | 2. Turn on the ignition and check the voltage on the connector connecting the generator. a) Terminals B and S: battery voltage. b) Terminal L: about 1 volt. | 3. Start the engine and recheck the voltage at the terminals of the generator. a) Terminals B and S: 14,1-14,7 Volt. b) Terminal L: 13,2-13,8 Volt. | 4. Make sure that an increase in speed of the engine, as well as the inclusion of an additional electrical power generated by the generator to fall below 13 volts, and did not rise above 15 volts. | 5. Replace the generator if necessary. |
