Exterior E-Class

Function meets form. This statement can be characterized by the design of the new E-Class.

The new models have a non-traditional appearance for Mercedes - four round headlights
Fig. eleven. The new models have a non-traditional appearance for Mercedes - four round headlights

On the front of the vehicle (Fig. 1.1) instead of the typical rectangular headlights for Mercedes mounted oval angled double headlights, which are beautifully designed. They make a more attractive appearance, created the original "face".
In profile, the car body has a silhouette characteristic for a coupe rather than the executive sedan. This fits well with the silhouette of a dynamic form of the front, and at the same time the body is familiar for Mercedes design. Typical for Mercedes is also a clearance racks.
Pillar. Through continuously rising windshield pillar retains the characteristic coupe trend lines that pass in a relatively short roof and extended the rear window.
At the reception. It serves as a formal link, and thanks to a black lacquered casing creates a seamless experience between the host side windows.
Stand C. It has a reinforced structure. Through expressive form creates a smooth transition to the rear of the vehicle.

The relatively short roof, and blending smoothly into the trunk of the rear window of the new Mercedes E-Class, which is organically connected to the C-pillar, give the body of the car similar to a coupe appearance (Fig. 1.2)
