Overview






Chassis is responsible for the dynamic performance and comfort in the car while driving. Its main task - to respect and preserve the desired path of motion, but in this case the car is reliable to operate. This problem is not as simple as when driving wheels not only rotate but also move under the influence of road surface up and down.
When braking, acceleration and in the corners and there are additional forces, which must cope undercarriage. This is only possible when all the components have an optimum mutual settings. By chassis are the springs and dampers, suspension front and rear axles, steering system and wheels and tires. The braking system is also generally related to the undercarriage, provided in a separate section.
