Adjustable hood

Before installing a new bonnet is necessary to rearrange some of the elements from the old. In particular this applies to rubber buffers. When closed, the clearance between the hood and front fenders, as well as between the fairing under the windshield should be uniform and be about 5 mm. The edges of the hood height should be flush with the upper edges of the wings.

SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. To adjust the setting of the length of time, loosen the bolts securing the hood hinges.
2. Slide the hood in the right direction. To avoid scratching the painted surface, place the fabric under the hood from the corners of the windshield.
3. Lateral adjustment is carried out through careful podgibaniem loops.
4. If this does not help, adjust the installation of the hood.

Lock (1) on the cross member and bracket lock on the hood should clearly go at the close of each other. To adjust the hood installation height rotate the bolts (2) securing the rubber buffers in the appropriate direction. To check gap, use a suitable plastic mass (clay, cement)

5. To adjust the setting adjustment screw or unscrew the rubber buffer 2 (Fig. 11.3) on the front cross bar to the edge of the hood are flush with the upper edges of the wings.

To adjust the bracket (1) Castle on the hood, loosen the lock nut tightening torque (2) and rotate the bracket in the right direction

6. If the striker does not include clear braces in the hood or bonnet open much difficult to adjust the bracket in height. To do this, loosen the lock nut tightening torque 2 (Fig. 11.4) and rotate the bracket in the right direction, achieving the desired setting.
