Removing Wing



Bolted only the front wings, rear welded to the body.

SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. Remove the bumper.
2. Remove the trim around the headlights, as described in Sec. "Electrical equipment".
3. Remove the headlight.
4. Remove the side turn signal.
5. Remove the decorative panel and lift it if necessary with a suitable tool.
6. Remove the bolts from the bottom edge of the wing (two in the vicinity of the door, about two bumper).
7. Open the front door, remove the screws on the front of the rack.
8. Remove the liner.

9. Remove the screws along the top edge of the wing, and remove the wing (Fig. 11.9).
10. If necessary, remove rust from the contact edges of the wing and body. Deal with a special zinc formulation and after drying paint.
11. Before attaching the wing it is necessary to set the height. To do this, close the hood and adjust the position of the wing. At installation use a new gasket.
