Improved dynamics



Numerous innovations and modifications created the prerequisites for improving the driving dynamics of the car. The most important of them include lengthening the wheelbase and increased track car. Both measures have a positive impact on the exchange rate stability at rectilinear movement, under the action of crosswinds and lateral roll. Compared with the predecessor model at the Mercedes E-Class has changed following external dimensions:

1. lengthen the wheelbase by 33 mm to the overall length of 2833 mm (see. Fig. 1.8).
2. Increase the front track by 34 mm to 1542 mm total distance.
3. Increased rear track by 54 mm to 1536 mm total distance.
