A quick check of serviceability of functioning air conditioning system

A quick check of serviceability of functioning air-conditioning system (for example, a minibus Series 901 - for models M-Class check is performed in a similar manner)

1 - Temperature Meter
2 - Inspection window of the receiver-dryer

3 - Refrigerant Leak Detector

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Illustrative material for a quick check of serviceability of functioning air conditioning system is represented by the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Drive the vehicle in the shade, open all the windows.
  3. Turn the selection lever of the temperature regime in the position COLD (Cold).
  4. Include fresh air mode.
  5. Fully open the flow sections of the nozzle duct.
  6. Run the engine at idle.
  7. Turn the K / B, - the engine speed should increase.
  8. Including the maximum speed mode of functioning of the fan.
  9. Through the viewing window of the receiver-drier (2) make sure that there are no signs of bubbling refrigerant.

During the initial launch of the system svezhezapravlennoy formation of air bubbles should not cause concern - Wait about 10 minutes - the bubbles will disappear.

  1. Carefully review the structural condition of all the components of refrigerator K / V, with a special detector check them for signs of leaks.
  2. Turn the fan speed mode "1" and using a special meter (1) measure the temperature of the effluent through the central dashboard air vents. After 5 minutes of operation of the temperature supplied to the room air should be within a range of +2 ? C ÷ + 12 ? C and the compressor K / V should go into cyclic mode (on-off), otherwise it is necessary to check the condition of the gauge-switch evaporator temperature.
  3. Turn off the air conditioner and switch off the engine, - a more detailed inspection of the system K / V should be carried out in a workshop of car-care center.
