Removing and installing AT torque converter



Details of AT

4 - Drain plug oil pan AT
9 - Drain plug the converter

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of AT represented in the figure, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  3. Remove the transfer case (see chap. The transmission line).
  4. Remove the oil filler tube (61) from the engine.
  5. Remove the drain plug (4) from the pan and drain AT ATF from the transmission housing - do not forget to replace the washer.
  6. Remove the plug (9) and drain the ATF from torque converter - do not forget to replace the washer.
  7. Remove the shield (62) and disunite the 13-pin connector (26) of the electric wiring of the control unit switching node.
  8. Disconnect the cable lock when parking.
  9. Remove the bolts (95) securing the torque converter to the drive disk, and then remove the cover of the torque converter (81).
  10. Remove the left and right oil lines (49) from the oil cooler.
  11. Releasing the latch, disconnect from the operating lever (33) AT rod (63) gear (see. Graphic design of the drive AT switch).
  12. Remove the cooling fan (see chap. System of cooling, heating and air conditioner).
  13. Disconnect the crankcase AT ground bus (46).
  14. Support the transmission jack.
  15. Turn out fixing bolts and filing with gear assembly on the jack back and down, separating it from the cylinder and remove from under the car.
  16. Remove the torque converter.
  17. Installation is in the reverse order.
