Removing and installing electric motors drive the wiper

The front wipers

Details of installation of electric drive windshield wiper

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the key from the ignition and disconnect the wire from the battery.
  2. Remove the supports and lower down solenoid valves locking differentials (Y68, Y68 / 1 and Y68 / 2), - try not to damage the vacuum lines.

Before disconnecting the wiring and vacuum lines do not forget to put the appropriate marking ensures the correct connection of the assembly.

  1. Remove the mounting bracket (1) a reservoir (2) and, without turning, pull it down, - try not to spill brake fluid.
  2. Disconnect electroconducting from the gauge-switch (S62) cowl anti-theft system (ATA).
  3. Remove the screws (arrows) fastening clamp vent lines on the mounting bracket. Get vents under refrigeration (4) and down, take them aside. Remove the mounting bracket (1).
  4. Remove the cover (3) electric motor (M6 / 1) drive the wiper.
  5. Disconnect the wiring, remove the fasteners (arrows) and remove the electric motor (M6 / 1) with poles (arrows).
  6. By submitting an electric motor (M6 / 1) forward, through a window in the bulkhead, pry and separate from the crank (6) actuating rod (5), - try not to bend the rod.
  7. Finally, remove the electric motor (M6 / 1).
  8. Installation is in the reverse order.
  9. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor) and perform basic programming.

Rear Wiper

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the rear wiper (see chap. Body).
  2. Remove the cover (1).
  3. Releasing clamps and without tilting, remove the central section of the top panel of the tailgate trim.
  4. Disconnect the connector (M6 / 4x1) electrical drive motor (M6 / 4).
  5. Remove the mounting bolts (3) and remove the electric motor (M6 / 4).
  6. Installation is in the reverse order.
