Removal, check and installation of the rear shock absorbers

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Release nut (1), then remove the plate (2) with a rubber sleeve (3) and release the shock from the upper support bracket (4).
  2. Remove the damper holder (5 and 8), the rubber bearing (6) and spacer sleeve (7).
  3. Release nut and remove the bolt (arrow) and remove the shock absorber from the lower leg.
  4. Assess the rubber components of the failed elements replace.
  5. Inspect the damper for evidence of leakage from the shaft collar workers, if necessary, prepare a removable assembly.
  6. Installation is in the reverse order. Ensure that the fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.
