PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Drain the oil from the rear differential (see chap. Current care and maintenance).
  2. Detach propeller shaft from the coupling flange the drive pinion and tie it to the frame.
  3. Give nuts of the lower strut (7).
  4. Loosen (but do not remove) the screws (1 and 2) from the diagonal rod (3) to the rear axle and the frame.
  5. Disconnect and plug tucked into the holder (9), brake lines and hydraulic line (10) drives the rear differential lock.
  6. Disconnect the connector (4) wiring on slave cylinder drive locking rear differential.
  7. Disconnected from the body side, remove the rear wheel sensor ABS (see chap. Brakes and auxiliary systems).
  8. Connect sensor wiring from the bridge.
  9. Disconnect and remove from the lever, threading through the floor panel, the parking brake cables (see chap. Brakes and auxiliary systems).
  10. On models not equipped with brake-force distribution (EBV), disconnect the rod (5) automatic brake pressure regulator.
  11. Release the parking brake cables from intermediate clamps on the trailing arm (6).
  12. Post car so that it was possible to remove the coil springs (8) (see. Section Removal and installation of spring front suspension).
  13. Remove the bolt (1) for the diagonal rod (3), and then build a bridge back post and remove it from under the car.
  14. Otboltite the bridge trailing arms (6).

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Priboltite the bridge trailing arms (6).
  2. Get behind the assembly of the bridge under the car.
  3. Install the spring (8) (see. Section Removal and installation of spring front suspension).
  4. Screw (but do not tighten) the bolt (1) securing the diagonal rod (3).
  5. Lower the car so that there was the possibility of landing longitudinal arms (6) in the frame.
  6. By placing rubber grommets on the frame arms (6), tighten the retaining nuts.
  7. Secure into place on the levers (6) the parking brake cables.
  8. Replace the shock absorber (7) (see. Section Removal, check and installation of the rear shock absorbers).
  9. Tighten the screws (1 and 2) from the diagonal Stays (3).
  10. Install the brake lines and hydraulic line drive locking rear differential.
  11. Connect the wiring to the ABS sensor wheel and install the latest at the regular places.
  12. Connect wiring (4) to the slave cylinder drive differential lock.
  13. On models without EBV set the rod (5).
  14. Connect the parking brake cables.
  15. Connect the propeller shaft.
  16. Pour the oil in the gear unit (see chap. Current care and maintenance).
  17. Finally, bleed the brake system and drive differential lock (see chap. The transmission line and braking and auxiliary systems).
  18. Adjust the parking brake (see chap. Brakes and auxiliary systems).
