Removal and installation of engine oil cooler SR20DE

The oil cooler is mounted on the oil filter housing and is bolted to the rear of the cylinder block (Fig. 2.76).
Lift the front of the car and put it on the stand.
Drain the cooling system. Disconnect hoses from the oil cooler housing. Mark the position of the radiator before it off. Remove the central bolt. Substituting to catch any oil. Remove the O-rings. Clean the radiator and blow it out with compressed air. If the radiator is damaged or clogged, replace it with a new one.
When reassembling, replace the O-rings. Install the heat sink on the marks made earlier. Tighten the center bolt. Follow the remaining operations in the reverse order of removal. Start up the engine and check for leaks. If necessary, add oil and coolant.
