Audio and mobile phone

General information and recommendations on the use of the audio system

The audio system is operated at a prescribed position ?Acc? or ?ON? key or ignition switch. For better reception we recommend using the radio antenna. The antenna can turn out of its nest on the roof of the car.

At low temperatures and rainy weather the normal operation of the CD player (CD) may be violated. In such cases, eject the disc and dry and ventilate the system. When driving on rough roads CD playback may be interrupted. For adequate operation of the CD player using a clean quality discs. The player may not play properly uncopyable whereas discs (CCCD), as well as recordable (CD-R) and rewritable (CD-RW) discs. To prevent malfunction of the player, do not use 8 cm discs, discs are not round shape and wheels with paper labels.

The unit will include digital radio, operating in the wavelength range (LW), medium (MW) and VHF (FM), and player CD. The audio unit is equipped with an anti-theft feature, and traffic announcements.

The main functions of the audio system can be controlled via buttons on the steering wheel. For this key or ignition switch must be in position ?Acc? or ?ON?, a sound system should be included. Functional keys given in a separate section.

When installed on a car CB radio, mobile phone or other electronic equipment necessary to observe the following guidelines, otherwise installed equipment may adversely affect the operation of the fuel injection system or on other electronic components of the car. Antenna CB radio dolzhka be located as far as possible from the electronic control systems of the vehicle (including the radio). The antenna cable must be located no closer than 20 cm from the electrical fuel injection system. Do not route the antenna cable near the wiring harness of the car. To eliminate standing radio waves recommended by the manufacturer of electronic equipment. Connect the wire casing CB radio with "weight" of the car.

Theft deterrent system

Without knowledge of the individual code the audio it will be impossible to turn on after installing in another car, which significantly reduces the risk of theft.

In normal operation, the audio system is unlocked and can be used in the usual way. If you turn off the audio on-board electrical network operates theft deterrent system, which blocks the subsequent inclusion of the audio system. To unlock it you must enter a unique code. This code can not be changed and is used only for the particular vehicle.

Individual radio code is shown on the map, which is given together with the operational documentation on the car. Keep the code card in a safe place and never leave it in the car. If you lose the radio code card, contact your authorized representative Nissan.

Unlocking the audio and switch-mode service

If the audio system is locked when you turn on the display for two seconds, a message is displayed ?CODE?, which is then replaced with the characters "0000".

To unlock using the selection buttons pre-programmed radio stations, enter a four-digit personal code. For example, to enter the code 5169 then the first (1) button to select the pre-programmed radio stations five times in a row, then the second, third and fourth respectively buttons 1, 6, and 9 times. Finally, confirm the code by pressing ^. If you have entered the correct code, the audio system is switched on; otherwise, the display will not change and the audio system is activated.

When servicing a vehicle, remove the radio security code, which will disconnect the battery (eg, maintenance, etc.) without a lock on the audio system. To do this, turn off the audio system and, at the same time holding down the 1st and 4th buttons pre-programmed radio station, turn on the audio system. Release the buttons pre-programmed radio stations.

Do not leave the vehicle unattended or put on the unguarded car park if the radio code has been removed. Immediately after the car maintenance activate the security code, act in the same way as when it is deactivated. Now, anti-theft system is active.

Press the ?MOD? and hold it in this position for at least two seconds to enter the setup menu of the sound. The display indicator lights ?MENU ^ v?. Each time you press the button ^ or v occurs switching the sound settings in the cyclic sequence: Bass (Bass level), Treble (Treble level), Fader (balance front / rear), Balance (Balance left / right), Loudness (Tone Compensation ), REG (reception of local radio stations), Bass, etc. Set the desired parameters of the sound in the selected mode using the << or >>.

Bass and treble levels are regulated from -7 to 7, and the value of the balance - -9 (back / left) to 9 (forward / right). Tone compensation is used to enhance the function of the low rise. In the REG keys << or >> you can enable or disable this mode.

After setting the sound again, click on the button ?MOD?, to fix in the memory of the radio set levels adjustments.

When switching the kind of work the audio system (radio player or CD) are installed in the sound settings (levels LF / HF and tone compensation) that have been specified for the appropriate source. At the same time balance adjustment front / rear and left / right from the sound source is independent.

Radio

Switch radio bands (BAND)

Each short (less than two seconds), press the button ?BAND? switches radio bands in cyclic order: FM1, FM2, FMT, MW, LW, FM1 etc.

If you include the FM-range and long-term (at least two seconds) to press the button ?BAND?, enable automatic memory programming radio. This radio will automatically find the five FM-stations with the strongest signal, and will bring them to the cell frequency (first to fifth) memory (range FMT). During automatic programming memory of the radio is displayed ?T-STORE? and the symbol ?AS?, and the sound is muted.

If you have enabled the reception of traffic announcements (TA) is to store the selected only those radio stations which transmit traffic information.

Manual tuning radio

Manual tuning is performed using the radio buttons ^ (increase frequency) and v (decrease frequency). The frequency setting is changed discretely, a step change in frequency depends on the settings included radio range of 100 kHz and in the range of VHF FM, 9 kHz in medium wave MW and 3 kHz in the wavelength range LW.

If you press ^ or v and hold it down for longer than 0.5 seconds, the radio frequency tuning will continuously increase or decrease as long as the button is released.

Automatic tuning the radio

Automatic tuning can be carried out at different levels of sensitivity of the radio. If you are in a high level of sensitivity ?DX?, the receiver tunes into the next frequency broadcasting the radio station regardless of the level of the received signal. If you are in a low level of sensitivity ?LO?, the adjustment will take place only at the radio station with a sufficiently strong signal, that is, on local radio stations.

With a single push of a button >> or << radio starts searching for stations operating in the respective upper or lower sub-band with respect to the current frequency setting. The search stops as soon as a radio tunes into the next station frequency. During automatic tuning the radio sound is muted.

If the radio is working at a low level of sensitivity ?LO?, he was not able to tune around the radio to any station is being broadcast, the radio will automatically switch to a high level of sensitivity ?DX?. Then, the radio will continue to search for radio stations broadcasting in the same range. If now the radio does not detect any broadcasting station, the automatic tuning stops.
