Ventilation systems, heating and air conditioning

general information

On considered cars can be set one of two types of ventilation, heating and K / V: Mechanically and electronically controlled. The system K / V equipped, not all of the models in question.

Air is drawn through the grille fairing windshield and into the interior, passing through the filter and, if the heater is turned on, through his radiator. Keep grille fairing windshield clear of leaves and other debris, and periodically replace the cabin filter to achieve from the ventilation system maximum impact.

Regardless of the type of block board of these systems, vents (two side and two central) air in the cabin located in the same areas (see. Illustration Controls and interior equipment). The grille deflectors mounted handles, with which you can adjust the direction of the air, and under the bars are the rotary controls the intensity of the air supply.

Management side deflector

Management of the central deflector

Heater and K / V work only with the engine running.

The control unit is manually adjustable parameters (type A)

1 - Switch the air distribution modes
2 - Switch mode of circulation
3 - Temperature control

4 - Switch K /
5 - fan speed controller

Control unit with electronic adjustment of parameters (type B)

1 - fan speed controller
2 - Switch the air distribution mode (the button ?MODE?)
3 - Switch mode ventilation
4 - Switch mode of circulation
5 - Switch automatic operation K /

6 - Temperature regulator
7 - Switch Systems
8 - Switch K /
9 - Display
10 - Switch mode blowing windscreen

Adjust the intensity of the air supply

Adjusting the flow rate of the air is done by varying the speed of the fan by a suitable controller. If the controller 5 in the illustration Control unit with manual adjustment of parameters (type A) on the control unit type A is set to "0", the fan is off. On the control unit type B to turn on the fan and adjust its rotations click on the arrow at the appropriate regulator.

Modes of air distribution

With the appropriate radio button to select the following modes of distribution of air:

- The air flow through the central and side air vents (to face);

- The air flow through the central and side vents and through the lower vents (to face and to the legs);

- The air flow mainly through the bottom vents (the feet);

- The air flow through the air vents of the windscreen and the lower ventilation openings (on the windshield and feet);

- Air flows mainly through the air vents of the windscreen. This mode is on the block type B switches on and off a separate button (?10 in the illustration Control unit with electronic adjustment of parameters (type B)).

On the control unit type B to change the mode of distribution of air in sequence, press the button ?MODE?. The display unit displays an icon of the current mode of distribution of air and light ?MANUAL?.

Circulation and ventilation air

When you turn on the air circulation (on the block type A control to move the lever of the switch to the far right), the air in the passenger compartment is circulated in a closed loop. The air outside the car to the salon is not served. Circulation should be used when driving on dusty roads or in heavy traffic, to avoid falling into the interior of dust, odors and exhaust gases. Furthermore, circulation mode enables very fast temperature drop in the cabin when using K / V.

Do not turn the recirculation mode for a long time because The air in the passenger compartment becomes stale and the windows appear condensate.

On models with the block type B recirculation mode is switched off automatically when you turn on the windshield blower or when you press the switch ventilation.

Ventilation mode (on the control unit type A switch lever is in the leftmost position) is the normal operation of the ventilation system.

Enabling circulation or ventilation on the block type B is accompanied by the inclusion of K / L, corresponding to the built-in switch.

Operation of the system of ventilation and heating

The heater starts to operate only when the engine warms up. In heating mode, the warm air enters the cabin through the bottom vents. For normal operation of the heating mode is switched on ventilation and air "at the feet" and then set the desired temperature and fan speed. To speed up the warm-cold cabin, activate circulation, but do not forget to turn it off as soon as the air in the cabin is enough to warm up. If along with the heated interior demisting is required, change the air mode .

On some models, it provides a two-level heating mode of the cabin, where the outside air is fed into the cabin through the side and center vents and warm air - through the bottom vents. To enable this mode, turn on the forced ventilation, select the air "to the face and the feet," select the desired fan speed and set temperature of 25 ÷ 32 degrees. (on the block type A corresponds to the position of the temperature regulator between the middle and rightmost position).

To remove condensation from the windows of frost Yee enable forced ventilation, set Defroster, turn the fan at medium speed and the temperature control set between the center and the extreme right. Side vents, set so that the flow of air are directed to the side windows. To speed up the removal of frost from the windows, activate circulation.

On models with the block type B to remove condensation from the windows, and frost is enough to automatically turn on the defroster.

The system K / V

The system of K / V is intended for the interior temperature lower than ambient temperature. The system works only when the ambient temperature is above -5 degrees and with the engine running, as Compressor K / V is driven by the engine crankshaft. When the system K / V (indicated by K / A, built-in switch) fuel consumption increases.

To get the most out of the system K / V when using it close windows and sunroof. Keep in mind that the cooled air is dehumidified, so K / V can be used to remove condensation from the windows. To maintain the system K / V in working condition include it at least once a month for about 10 minutes.

If the temperature of coolant K / B may turn off automatically to reduce the load on the engine.

Automatic control (only models with the block type B)

When the automatic mode the operating parameters of heating, ventilation and K / O is automatically selected so as to maintain the desired temperature.

To stabilize the interior temperature sensor is used to the sun, do not close it in order not to disrupt the automation. If necessary, you can manually change the mode of the air supply, turn on the circulation and ventilation, as well as to adjust the fan speed. When you make changes to the automatic mode, the display lights up ?MANUAL?. To turn off the system, press the button 7 in the illustration Control unit with electronic adjustment of parameters (type B).
