Disassembly and assembly of the drive shaft



Assemble the right drive shaft shown in the illustration below. On the left there is no drive shaft vibration damper.

Assemble the right drive shaft

1, 10 - Bellow

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the banding.
  2. Clamp the shaft in a vice with soft metal jaws and remove the retaining ring and the housing inner CV joint.
  1. Apply a paint mark on the shaft and tripodny hinge.
  1. Remove the retaining ring and remove tripodny joint from the drive shaft.
  2. Remove the shaft boot.
  3. Remove banding and slide from the outer CV joint boot.
  4. Remove the constant velocity joints (see para. and clean paper towel holder of the hinge of old greasing. Check the condition of the joint, and replace it if necessary.
  5. Remove the drive shaft boot and lock ring
  6. If necessary, remove the drive shaft from the right vibration damper, having removed his collars.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To build the shaft from the wheel, proceed in accordance with paragraphs 13 to 20.
  2. Wrap the splined portion of the shaft from the transmission belt to prevent damage to the boot during installation. Install a new boot on the shaft and the new banding anther.
  3. Remove the protective tape and replace the drive shaft tripodny side dish, combined the labels put at removal.
  4. Secure tripodny garnish a new lock ring.
  5. Tamp tripodny garnish grease and set him cover.
  6. Tamp in a casing 115 ?� 5g grease.
  1. Securely install boot into grooves (* in the illustration), after removing the grease from the surfaces marked with *.
  1. Make sure that the length of the boot (L) of 96.5 ?� 1 mm. Bend the edge of a screwdriver (from the larger diameter) anther and bleed air to prevent deformation of the boot.
  1. Secure the inner CV joint boot the new banding in accordance with the illustration.

Turning CV joints, make sure that the situation does not change the boot. Otherwise, install a new boot.


  1. If filmed vibration damper, install it according to the figure.
