Replacement lamps lighting

Incandescent lamps should be replaced only by the same type. Before replacing the lamp, make sure that the appropriate light unit was turned off. Do not take the incandescent bulb with bare fingers, use a clean towel or cotton gloves. Fingerprints left on the bulb, vaporized and deposited on the reflector, which is especially noticeable on headlamps and fog lamps. Accidentally left fingerprints should be removed with a napkin soaked in alcohol. It is not allowed to wipe the reflector headlamps, coated with a protective varnish, dry hard cloth, and apply for this purpose any cleaners or solvents. Use a damp, soft cloth.

Halogen bulbs are under pressure and can burst. Therefore, their replacement should use protective goggles and gloves. When replacing the xenon lamps there is a risk of injury due to high voltage! Be sure to turn off the headlights and disconnect the wiring from the battery. After replacing briefly switch on and off lamp, to remove the residual stress. As a security measure, wear shoes with rubber soles.
