Carburetor

The first chamber of the carburettor is operated at normal load, the second camera is switched on when the engine is running at full capacity. The throttle valve is actuated by a vacuum device of the vacuum produced in an air diffuser.

All nozzles and air holes are selected in the manufacture so as to achieve the best power under any conditions. For this reason, the nozzles do not change caliber, however, certain changes may be made, for example, by forcing the engine at which to know which nozzles must be replaced. A higher number in the jet indicates a larger aperture, so that the main jet and the jet of idling with large numbers provide a richer mixture, while large air jets provide a more lean. The carburetor has the following features:

Throttle second chamber actuated vacuum device due to the vacuum produced in an air diffuser. Vacuum channel air diffusers located in the first and second chambers and the membrane is actuated by a common vacuum.

The accelerating pump is used to disperse a good car. It is a piston pump, which is connected to the throttle. The accelerating pump works together with a control valve.

Valve high power actuated vacuum inside the throttle body and improves the fuel delivery at high speeds. When set the carburetor instead of the valve is installed the valve of adjustment of quality mixture.

Fixed throttle damper allows soft closing of the throttle when the accelerator is released.

The carburetor is equipped with home automation. It is heated by an electric heating element.

Control valve serves to increase the number of the idle, ie. E., For example, during a servo control ensures that the idling speed maintained constant and not reduced by an additional load on the engine. To do this, set a single jet of idling, which is next to a conventional jet idling.

Electric fuel cut valve cuts off fuel to the carburetor when the rear wheel overrun.

Removal and installation of the carburetor

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the air filter (Section Air Filter).
  2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector of the engine. He joins the starting automation and control valve termination of the fuel supply device to increase idle speed, accelerator pump, control the quality of the mixture, as well as throttle position sensor.
  3. To avoid damaging the connector, it must be turned off in accordance with the following instructions.
  4. First, remove the rear latch as shown in the upper part of the illustration, and extrude in the direction of the arrow. Using a small screwdriver tilt lock latch (3) and simultaneously slide clamp in the direction of the arrow in the lower illustration. When disconnecting the plug does not pull on the cable. Also, do not damage the seal on the underside of the terminal.

Elements to disconnect the connector plug harness carburetor

1 - terminal
2 - Screwdriver
3 - stop tab
  1. Loosen the throttle actuator on the counter support by loosening the lock and adjusting nut and disconnect the cable from the drive end of the segment of the carburetor.
  2. Remove the carburetor fuel and vacuum lines.
  3. Loosen the four screws on the carburettor intake pipe, remove the washer and remove the carburetor. Remove the gasket between the carburetor and the pipeline and immediately put on a clean cloth suction port to the engine could not get foreign objects. Installation of the carburetor in the reverse order of removal. Use new gasket flange inlet pipeline, but before installation, make sure that both surfaces are clean. Do not use sealant. After installing the carburetor, do the various adjustments as described below.

Disassembly and assembly of the carburettor

Dismantling the carburettor is not difficult, but must be taken into account the following points:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Main jet carburetor screwed on top of the housing, t. E. To get to the nozzles, remove the carburetor cover.
  2. Carburetor cover can be removed after disconnecting the connecting rod, drive rod pump (spring latch and lock ring), a return spring, the thrust pin and loosening bolts.
  3. Most of the jets at the top of the carburetor body and may, for example, cleans without further disassembly of the carburetor.
  4. The mixing tube can be removed unscrewing both field adjustment of air jets in the middle hole of the carburetor.
  5. To check the accelerator pump can remove the pump lever.
  6. On the side of the carburettor loosen the frame and remove the viewing window glass with a gasket. The gasket must always be replaced, otherwise will leak gasoline.
  7. To separate the unit from the throttle body of the carburettor, remove the connecting rod between the vacuum unit and the throttle lever and loosen the three screws on the throttle valves. Butterfly valves must not be removed.
  8. Do not disassemble the vacuum device.
  9. Remove the float after squeezing his shaft and remove the float needle valve.
  10. Thoroughly clean all parts and blow compressed air. Do not use a needle or other sharp object to clean the jets. Gaskets should always be replaced, even if you remove the gasket still have a satisfactory appearance. To check the accelerator pump, fill the float chamber with fuel and actuate the pump. Make sure the spray nozzle from the left uniform jet fuel. Assembling the carburettor in the reverse order. All of the adjustment in the next chapter, which should be conducted on the removed carburettor, proceed with the assembly.

Adjusting the carburettor

Adjustment of fast idling

The inspection must be carried out on installed carburetor adjustment - to remove.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Warm up the engine and the lever of fast idling on the second step of the stepped cam, as shown in the illustration below.

Individual elements to adjust the fast idling

1 - the adjusting screw
2 - the cam fast idling
3 - an enlarged view of a cam of fast idling
  1. Start the engine and check the RPM with a tachometer. The value should be in the range 2300 ? 200 rev / min.
  2. If the value is not correct, remove the carburetor and adjust fast idle.
  3. Establish the lever of fast idling on the second step of the stepped cam.
  4. With the drill to measure the gap between the edge of the throttle opening and the first chamber of the carburetor. If the value is outside the ? 0.07 mm 0.63, adjust the screw (1) (see. Illustration above).
  5. Set carburetor and check the number of revolutions, as described above.

Adjust the float

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To adjust or float test is necessary to remove the carburetor. Before adjusting the level of the float start the engine. Check the fuel level on the side of the carburettor through the window. The fuel level should be based on the control line.
  2. Otherwise perform the following work:
  3. Remove the carburetor.
  4. Remove the cover from the carburetor float disposed therein.
  5. Turn the cover of the carburettor so that the float was located as shown in the illustration below.

Individual elements for adjusting the float

1 - float
2 - the emphasis of the float
3 - the float needle valve
4 - the seat of the float
  1. With the drill, measure the size of the "H". He should be in the range 9.5 - 10.5 mm.
  2. If the value is incorrect, bend resistant latch (4).
  3. Now carefully lift the float in the place indicated by the arrow in the illustration above, that he rested and measure the size of the "h" between the surfaces of the lid and the upper edge of the float.
  4. If the size is beyond 43.0 -44.0 mm, gently bend stress float (2).

Throttle damper

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To check the operation of the damper throttle run the engine at idle. The values of the idle and the CO content must meet the requirements.

  2. Connect the tachometer according to the instructions.
  3. Move the throttle rod by hand until the tip touches the damper thrust lever. At this point, the number of revolutions should be 2500 ? 200 rev / min.
  4. If required, loosen the locknut damper and turn the adjusting screw until the number of revolutions will not match the required value. Again, tighten the lock nut (see. Illustration below).

By adjusting the throttle damper

1 - throttle damper
2 - adjusting screw
