1. After removing the mat in the driver's feet, measure the distance from the floor to the pedal body. |
2. If the measured distance to the mat, then add to the result of the thickness of the mat. |
3. If the distance is different from the norm, then loosen the lock nut of the adjusting bolt (or sensor clutch) and turn the screw (or sensor) to obtain the desired distance. |
4. After adjustment, tighten the nut with the set moment. |
5. To increase space, remove the lower front panel. |
6. Check the free travel. |
7. Press the pedal a finger and measure the distance to the feeling of a weak resistance to movement. |
| 8. If necessary, adjust the cable loosen the locknut on the lever clutch fork (working inside the engine compartment) and turning the knurled nut to adjust the lever stroke to normal (2.5-3.5 mm). |
9. Recheck the free travel and tighten the lock nut. |
10. Install all the removed parts. |
