Engine cooling system
The cooling system is completely sealed, consists of a radiator, water pump, thermostat, expansion tank, interconnecting hoses and fan. The system operates as follows. While the engine is cold, the thermostat is closed and coolant is circulated in a small circle, bypassing the radiator. When the liquid temperature reaches about 87 ? C, the thermostat starts to open and the liquid begins to circulate in a large circle through the radiator. The fan thermal switch is activated when the coolant temperature is 93-98 ? C, and turns off at 88-93 ? C. The capacity of the cooling system of engines in working volume of 1,1 and 1,3 liters - 5.5 liters engine displacement of 1.6 and 1.8 liter and diesel - 6.5 liters.
