High pressure fuel pump



Refitting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the first cylinder to TDC and remove the camshaft drive belt (see. Pp. 4-10 subsection 2.2.3).
2. Loosen the nuts of the gear 15 (see. Fig. Details camshaft drive) of the fuel pump.
3. Special puller slide gear 15 with cone-shaped part of the pump shaft.
4. Remove the puller, unscrew the nut and remove the gear wheel 15, remove the key from the recess of the shaft.
5. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel pump. At the pump from Bosch nuts fuel and conventional fuel discharge pipe of the same diameter, but in tube nut reverse drain has a rubber seal on it, and there is an inscription ?�Out?�. This nut is not recommended to change.
6. Disconnect fuel supply and pull the trigger device.
7. To turn away three bolts of fastening of the pump 13 to the bracket 14 and one mounting bolt to the rear of the pump bracket 12.
8. Remove the pump.

High pressure fuel pump can not be repaired. In case of failure the pump replaced.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the pump 13 to the bracket 14 so as to coincide the label on the bracket and the pump housing.
2. Tighten bolts of the pump 14 to the front and rear brackets 12 and tighten to 25 Nm (2.5 kgs.m).
3. Insert the key into the recess of the pump shaft, set the gear 15, to turn the gear nut to 45 Nm (4.5 kgf-m).
4. Connect the fuel lines, fuel lines to tighten the nut to 25 Nm (2.5 kgf-m).
5. Turn the gear pump so that the mark on the wheel coincides with the marking on the bracket 14, as shown in the figure.
6. Secure the wheel (2) high pressure fuel pump, a special screwed rod (1) into the threaded hole of the gear, as shown in Figure (3 - front bracket pump).
7. Loosen the bolt on the half-turn of a cam gear. Blow to the wheel of a cam-shaft with a rubber mallet to loosen it landed.
8. Check whether the first cylinder to TDC.
9. Wear a belt 6 Timing and pull it (see. Pp. 10-13, subsection 2.2.3).
10. Check and adjust the start of injection of the fuel pump.
