1 - screw-threaded plug;
2 - pull the fuel supply;
3 - lock washer;
4 - adjustment screw maximum speed;
5 - the lever;
6 - adjusting screw idle speed;
7 - a bolt;
8 - a finger;
9 - lock washer;
10 - washer;
11 - draft of the starting device

Link the starting device should not be stretched.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Rotate the crankshaft so that the TDC mark on the flywheel coincided with the tide on the clutch housing.
2. In this case, the mark on the gear pump should coincide with a label on the bracket.
3. Remove the drain plug 1 (see. Fig. Traction control fuel pump Bosch) in the center of the back of the pump cover and screw in its place Indicator with extension VAG 2066. Indicator screw up to the moment when the indicator hand starts moving. Set the indicator to zero.
4. Screw the indicator that he showed interference of 2.5 mm.
5. Turn the crankshaft in a direction opposite to the rotation when the motor (counterclockwise), as long as the indicator needle stops moving.
6. Screw the tension indicator to about 1 mm and set to zero.
7. Turn the crankshaft in the opposite direction of rotation during engine operation (counter-clockwise), as long as align the TDC mark on the flywheel and clutch housing. The indicator should show 0,83-0,97 mm for engines mod. JR, RA and SB and 0,93-1,07 mm for engines mod. JP, 1V.
8. If the indicators do not fit into these limits, adjust the start of injection. To do this, loosen the bolts to the front of the pump 14 (see. Fig. Details camshaft drive) and the rear bracket 12. In order to ease the lower bolt of the pump to the bracket 14, turn the gear pump 15 so that the bolt holes in the opposite turned cogwheel. Change the slope of the pump in relation to the cylinder block so that the indicator showed 0.90 ? 0.02 mm for engines modes. JR, RA and SB and 1,00 ? 0,02 mm for engines mod. JP, 1V.
9. Tighten the pump bolts to 25 N ? m (2.5 kgf ? m).
10. Remove the indicator and tighten the screw plug and replace the O-ring pre-stopper. Jam tightening torque of 15 Nm (1.5 kgf-m). In the case of leakage tighten the cap on. The maximum permissible torque of 25 Nm (2.5 kgf-m).

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Pull out the knob pull trigger on the instrument panel.
2. Screw the dial gauge extension cord VAG in 3071, and then turn it half a turn. This prevents jamming indicator.
3. Rotate the crankshaft so that the mark on the flywheel coincided with the tide on the clutch housing.
4. Remove the drain plug on the side of the pump and screw it in place with an extension indicator as shown in the figure. Screw indicator that it reads tightness 2 mm.
5. Turn the crankshaft in a direction opposite to the rotation when the motor (counterclockwise), 20-30 mm.
6. Crank in a direction opposite to the rotation when the motor (counterclockwise), as long as the indicator shows the smallest value.
7. Check the TDC coincidence of labels on a flywheel and clutch housing. The discrepancy between the marks may be ? 2 mm.
8. If TDC does not match, adjust the start of injection. To do this, turn the crankshaft to align the TDC mark. Loosen the bolts securing the fuel pump to the front and rear brackets. Change the slope of the pump in relation to the cylinder block so that the indicator showed the lowest value.
9. Tighten the pump bolts to 25 N ? m (2.5 kgf ? m).
10. Remove the indicator and tighten the screw plug.
