Adjusting the idle speed



Terminal "W" of the generator

Pump Bosch's release until September 1985

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Warm up the engine, the oil temperature should be 50-70 ?� C.
2. Switch off all power consumers (headlights, radio, etc.). Check that has been extended pull handle starting device.
3. In vehicles with automatic transmission, set the selector lever to position "P" and apply the parking brake.
4. Connect the control tachometer to terminal ?�W?� generator (indicated by arrows in Fig. Terminal "W" of the generator).
5. Adjust the idle speed screw 6 (see. Fig. Traction control fuel pump Bosch) in the range of 850 ?� 100 min -1 (850 ?� 30 min -1 for engines with catalytic converter).
6. Lock the screw 6 paint.

1 - nut adjust the idle speed of the engine;
2 - the screw that was used to adjust the idle speed until September 1985 .;
3 - screw limits the lower limit engine speed;

Since September 1985 it has changed adjust the idle speed, because it is impossible to change the position of the screws that adjust the frequency of rotation of idling until September 1985

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Warm up the engine, the oil temperature should not be below 80 ?� C.
2. Switch off all power consumers (headlights, radio, etc.).
3. Connect the control tachometer to terminal ?�W?� generator (indicated by arrows in Fig. Terminal "W" of the generator).
4. Several times briefly increase speed to 2000 min -1.
5. Check on the tachometer idle speed, it should be 850 ?� 30 min - 1. If the speed is different from the above, adjust the nut 1. Turn nut to the right increases the idling speed, turn left - reduces.

1 - lock nut;

2 - a bolt of adjustment of idling speed;

3 - lever stop

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Warm up the engine oil temperature at least 80 ?� C Thrust starting device should not be stretched.
2. Switch off all power consumers (headlights, radio, and so on. D.).
3. Connect the control tachometer to terminal ?�W?� generator (indicated by arrows in Fig. Terminal "W" of the generator).
4. Several times briefly increase the engine speed up to 2000 min -1.
5. Loosen the lock nut 1 and turning the adjusting screw 2 set idle speed within 850 ?� 100 min -1.
