The engine management system Digifant

Digifant control system mounted on the engine and ABF 2E. Like other engine management systems, it combines the fuel injection subsystem and a subsystem control the ignition timing. Both systems are controlled by a common programmable electronic control unit mounted in the engine compartment behind the partition bulkhead (on vehicles without a catalytic converter) or right under the dashboard inside the vehicle.

Details of sub fuel injection control KSUD Digifant 3.0 / 3.2
Fig. 2.49. Details of sub fuel injection control KSUD Digifant 3.0 / 3.2: 1 - the air filter; 2 - pipe heated air intake; 3 - the air; 4 - the throttle body; 5 - the controller; 6 - the upper part of the intake manifold; 7 - coolant temperature sensor; 8 - gaskets; 9 - the lower part of the intake manifold; 10 - the gauge of frequency of rotation of the crankshaft; 11 - solenoid valve of stabilization of idling; 12 - a control valve crankcase ventilation system; 13 - the gauge of oxygen (lambda probe)

However, the system Digifant, mounted on the engine 2E and ABF, have significant differences (Fig. 2.49 and 2.50). On engines 2E it is equipped with an air flow meter, missing engines brands ABF, where the engine load is determined by the pressure in the intake manifold. Subsystem fuel injection control on engines 2E has much in common with injection system ?LE-Jetronic? from Bosch and is a system with an intermittent supply of the working mixture. The main parameters that determine the amount of the mixture, are the engine speed and the amount of incoming air.

The main components of the subsystem control the ignition timing are the controller, switch, speed sensor camshaft mounted in the ignition distributor, coil and spark plugs.
Fuel injection control subsystem also includes the following main elements:
- A controller (the Bosch 0261 200291 vehicles with manual transmission, and 0261 200291 vehicles with automatic transmission) for the formation of adequate signals to maintain the desired quality of the mixture and supplying the required amount of the mixture receives the following information: the number and the intake air temperature, speed and angular crankshaft position, coolant temperature;
- The fuel filter installed vzadney of the body under the floor;
- An electric pump-type roller mark Bosch, installed in the fuel tank with the fuel supply sensor. In normal operation, its performance is (cm3 / 30) at a voltage of 9 V - 265-285; 10 - 340-360; 11 - 415-435; 12 - 490-510;
- Fuel pressure regulator mounted at the bottom of the distribution of the fuel line. Pressure regulating idling at a vacuum hose attached 2.5 kgf / cm2; when disconnected vacuum hose about 3 kg / cm2. The minimum allowable residual fuel pressure in the system after 10 minutes after stopping the fuel pump is not less than 2 kgf / cm2;
- Coolant temperature sensor mounted in the housing for supplying coolant to the cylinder head;
- Temperature sensor on the motor 2E, which is part of the air flow sensor. The engine ABF it is located in the intake duct of the air filter by following in the direction of air flow;
- The valve of stabilization of idling mounted in a bracket at the intake manifold on the camshaft cover. The engine required removal of ABF flat guard;
- Potentiometric throttle position sensor is also mounted on the throttle body. potentiometer throttle body. Where appropriate, remove the O-ring;
- Speed sensor mounted on the gearbox;
- Engine speed sensor mounted on the front of the cylinder block near the interface unit and the transmission housing;
- Nozzle-injection are set at the bottom of the inlet conduit. Winding resistance injectors 15-20 ohms. Winding resistance injectors of 1st cylinder is measured between the terminals "1" and "5" (the connecting pads nozzles) nozzles 2-cylinder - between terminals "2" and "5"; nozzle 3-cylinder - between terminals "3" and "5" and the nozzle 4-cylinder - between terminals "4" and "5".
- An absorber and an electromagnetic valve it controls mounted on the right front wheel housing casing;
- The oxygen sensor in the exhaust gas with integrated electric heating element mounted in the pipe of the exhaust system upstream of the catalytic converter. The sensor supplies the controller voltage signal proportional to the oxygen content of the exhaust gas sensor when the temperature reaches 300 ? C. The output voltage during start-up of the engine 11;
- A subsystem of the fuel injection control KSUD Digifant 3.2, moreover, includes a solenoid valve stabilizing idling mounted in the air duct, taken parallel to the throttle body.
