The engine management system ?Mono-Motronic?

This production system from Bosch was installed on engines ABU, AEA, AAM, ABS. It is used in conjunction with a three-way catalytic converter and oxygen sensor content. KSUD subsystem includes fuel injection control and management subsystem ignition timing. Both systems are controlled by a common programmable electronic control unit mounted on the right under the instrument panel in the car.

Components KSUD Mono-Motronic (engines of 1.6 liters / 100 hp, 1.8 L, 2.0 L / 115 hp)
Fig. 2.47. Components KSUD Mono-Motronic (engines of 1.6 liters / 100 hp, 1.8 L, 2.0 L / 115 hp): 1 - high-voltage wire; 2 - spark plug, 30 Nm; 3 - candle tip (resistance 4-6 Ohm); 4 - the tip of the wire to the suppression resistor; 5 - connector; 6 - a nut, 10 Nm; 7 - a cover of a high-voltage part of the ignition coil; 8 - the case of the ignition coil; 9 - terminal; 10 - terminal ?1 (?weight"); 11 - terminal number 4; 12 - earthing bar; 13 - the coolant temperature sensor; 14 - seal round section; 15 - housing; 16 - Clip; 17 - a regulator of idling (only engines of 1.8 liters); 18 - Central injection unit; 19 - Computer; 20 - connector; 21 - the pressure plate; 22 - bolt 25 Nm; 23 - the gauge-distributor; 24 - Cover the inside; 25 - slider, active resistance of 0.6 ohm -1; 26 - a cover of the gauge-distributor; 27 - Noise screen

Management subsystem consists of angle ignition switch ?Telefunken?, speed sensor (installed in the ignition distributor), the vacuum sensor (integrated in switch), coil and spark plugs. The main components of the system ?Mono-Motronic? presented in Fig. 2.47.
When the engine controller includes a solenoid valve periodically canister purge. In this way, incoming outside air, saturating gasoline vapor enters the space zadrosselnoe fuel injection unit.

The unit is the central injection Mono-Motronic
Fig. 2.48. The unit is the central injection Mono-Motronic: 1 - a sealing ring; 2 - nozzle; 3 - Cover; 4 - gasket; 5 - the case; 6 - constipation; 7 - throttle position sensor; 8 - separator; 9 - a protective cover; 10 - an arm; 11 - the switch of the throttle; 12 - a regulator of idling; 13 - Pressure Regulator

Idle regulator, located in the central injection unit (Fig. 2.48), the switch is equipped with throttle position sensor, which supplies a signal to the control unit that the throttle is in the idle position. The idle position Throttle adjusted at the factory and can not be adjusted.
Oxygen sensor in the exhaust gas is installed in the front exhaust pipe and serves for signaling the concentration of oxygen in the exhaust gases to the controller.
Fuel is supplied to the electric pump mark installed in the fuel tank. Its performance should be (cm3 / 30 sec) when the voltage supplied to the terminals of the pump, - 8: 175-195; 9: 290-310; 10: 390-410; 11: 515-535; 12: 640-660.
To check the inlet air temperature sensor at the removed terminal block to connect an ohmmeter to terminals 1 and 4 to check the sensor resistance. The values should be, k: at 0 ? C: 5,0-6,2; at 20 ? C: 2.0-3.0; at 30 ? C: 1.6-2.0; at 50 ? C: 700-900 ohms; at 80 ? C: 300-350 ohms; at 100 ? C: 175-225 ohms.
