Adjustment of the drive cable and the parallel hatch
Adjusting the parallelism of the hatch cover is carried out only after the removal of the cable and pinion. Hook and remove interior light, remove the cover of the drive cable and remove the hidden fastening screws of the drive.
A WARNING Before removal of the drive cable, disconnect the negative lead from the battery terminals. When adjusting parallelism hatch drive gear must be disengaged. |
The adjustment is made in the following order: - Move the cables and rear cable guide back; - Set axis position for the lid is closed;

- Set the lock levers 2 (see. Fig. 15.73) of the cover so that they are included in the guide.
A WARNING Guides exposed only by moving back to the markings indicating the fully closed position of the hatch. |
A WARNING It is prohibited to shift rail forward. |
Adjustment of the drive cable. Before adjusting the drive mechanism of a cable mechanism cover and the drive mechanism of a cable to be installed in the correct position for the lid is closed. A cable drive mechanism is controlled by counting the revolutions of the pinion. When you open the hatch (manhole cover slides across) the gear rotates clockwise and with the full opening abuts the stopper. From this end position, turn the gear on 9 full turns counterclockwise, causing the hatch should be closed completely. When you open the hatch (manhole cover is tilted) gear rotates counterclockwise, and with the full opening abuts the stopper. From this end position, turn the gear on the 2 full turns in a clockwise direction, leaving the hatch should be closed completely.
