The lower part of the front suspension

Removing the steering knuckle in the following order:

A WARNING
Stub 2 (Fig. 10.6) to remove and install separately or together with the front shock absorber.

- Remove the wheel covers;
- Unscrew the nut fastening the hub 7 in the "car RV";
- Loosen the wheel bolts;
- Hang out and fix on support struts front of the vehicle;
- Loosen the wheel bolts and remove the wheel;
- Loosen the nut of the drive shaft and remove the washer;
- Remove the caliper and the brake disk. Using a soft wire, tie up a support to the rack;
- Unscrew the deflector 18 and disconnect it from the suspension arm 11;
- Loosen the nut of a coupling bolt that secures the lower ball joint 9 arm 11 arm to knuckle 2;
- Mark the position of the bolt, the bolt and remove the pin of the lower ball joint from the steering knuckle, which press the wishbone from the knuckle down. If you have trouble with the removal arm insert between the arm and body of the car mount and squeeze the lever;

A WARNING
During the operation take care not to damage the protective cover of the ball joint.

- Disconnect the tie rod from the knuckle;
- Disconnect the connector stabilizer bar from the arm;
- If the knuckle is removed separately from the shock absorber 1, mark the relative position of the rack and steering knuckle. Note upper and lower steering knuckle bolts to the counter to properly install them on the same place, because of their position depends on the angle of camber, and unscrew bolts. Using the lever, remove the rack from the knuckle.
When removing the knuckle with the rack otverntite the upper mounting. If the coil spring suspension is compressed further, set the jack under the knuckle to support the weight of the steering knuckle and strut, and after disconnecting the top of the rack, lower the jack to free the coil spring.
Remove the knuckle while removing it from the drive shaft. If necessary, using a stripper, squeeze out the drive shaft from the hub.
Install the knuckle spend to sequences, return to removal.
Be sure to install the mounting bolts to the front steering knuckle.
Nuts of fastening of the drive shaft and tighten the stabilizer only in the "car on wheels."
