Wishbone



Removal of the lever in the following order:
- Remove the wheel covers;
- Loosen the wheel bolts;
- Hang out and fix on support struts front of the vehicle;
- Loosen the wheel bolts and remove the wheel;
- Unscrew and remove the deflector control arm;
- Set the jack under the central part of the crossbeam and raise the jack so that the weight of the beam perceived jack;
- Unscrew the mounting suspension stabilizer bar to the cross beam and the body. Both front bolt securing the rear silent-block arm;
- Remove the nut and disconnect the connector stabilizer stabilizer bar from the control arm. Plates of sheet metal with rubber feet are installed on both sides of the lever. Tapered side silent-blocks located on the side plates of sheet metal, while the bead plates to be directed in the opposite direction from the bushing;
- Loosen the nut of a coupling bolt that secures the lower ball joint control arm to the steering knuckle. Mark the position of the bolt (front head), remove the bolt and the pin of the lower ball joint from the steering knuckle, which press the wishbone from the knuckle down. When difficulties encountered with the removal of the lever arm between the insert and the body of the car mount and squeeze the lever down;
- Unscrew and remove the hinge bolt of the front inner end of the lever;

A WARNING
During the operation take care not to damage the protective cover of the ball joint.

- Remove the wishbone, removing it from the front inner attachment points move downwards and inwards from the knuckle and forth from the inner rear mounting. If necessary, lower the crossbeam, wishbone loose. If necessary, use the appropriate lever.
Repair of the lever in the following order:
- Clean the lever from dirt;
- Check ball bearings and silent blocks for wear. Check the lever for damage and deformation. If necessary, the ball and silent blocks should be replaced;
- To replace the ball joint mark its position on the wishbone. This is important because the relative position of the control arm and ball joint installed at the factory - manufacturer;

- Remove the three screws and ball joint snimitenizhnyuyu 2 (Fig. 10.12) and the lock plate 1;
- Install a new ball joint to the same place that housed the old ball joint, and tighten the nut;
- When installing a new control arm ball joint, set in the middle of the elongated hole;
- To replace the Hob front lever, using a long bolt in conjunction with a metal tubular mandrel and gaskets, Hob squeeze out arm. Install a new Hob, using the same method, after brushing the outer part Hobs soapy water;
- Using the lever, remove the rear Hob arm.

- Install a new Hob back into place so that the air gap was sent to the axis of the vehicle (Fig. 10.13).
Installation of the lever made in sequence, return to removal.
Tighten the mounting bolts to lower the car on wheels.
Check the front wheels and, if necessary, adjust them (see. "Wheel alignment").
