The water pump (engine-I 1,8 and I 1,6-ADP)

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the thermostat. 2. Remove the generator. 3. Remove the V-belt drives the water pump. 4. Remove the three screws and remove the poly V-belt tensioner bracket. 5. Loosen the hose clamps and remove the coolant hoses to the water pump. 6. Mount the water pump, alternator and viscous coupling fan heatsink is bolted in various lengths, so label the front of their unscrewing bolts (see. Fig. Arrangement of bolts of the bracket with the water pump, alternator and radiator fan viscous coupling). Unscrew bolts and remove an arm. 7. Remove the screws and remove water pump from the bracket. 8. Turning the shaft of the water pump, check the condition of the bearings of the water pump and, if necessary, replace them.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If you remove the cover of the water pump to replace the gasket, screw the cap bolts, having tightened their moment of 10 Nm. See fig. The water pump engines 1,8-I and I-ADP 1.6. 2. Install the water pump with a new sealing ring and bracket on the engine block and in accordance with the previously applied markings screw bolts, having tightened their moment of 30 Nm. Tighten the bolts in the sequence A, B, C, D, E, F, see. Fig. Arrangement of bolts of the bracket with the water pump, alternator and viscous coupling fan radiator. 3. Set the thermostat. 4. Connect the water pump water hoses and fix their collars. 5. Install the V-ribbed belt tensioner and fix its three bolts, having tightened their moment of 25 Nm. 6. Install the generator. 7. Install the accessory drive belt. 8. Fill the cooling system, the coolant and remove air. 9. Start the engine and check the tightness of the cooling system.
