Removal and installation of a cable of the selector gearbox

Withdrawal
Press the cable 1 from the lever 3 with the key 2 (Fig. 3.84). Squeeze the latches and remove the cable from counter support. Raise the vehicle. To further remove the rope traction and / or a manual drive switch, remove the heat shield and, if necessary, parts of the exhaust system. Remove the heat shield. Remove the switching mechanism. To remove the lanyard cravings, you need a screwdriver to pull your thumbs up. At the same time press ahead locking bolt lock plate. Remove the lock plate. The puck must be replaced. Remove the cable arm.
Setting Unscrew the adjusting screw cable. Cable is not greased. Route the cable so that tension is not applied by inserting it in a support on the gearbox, but not until the fixing lock washers. Then insert the cable into the holder. Note that the holder does not touch the oil cooler. Attach the wire to the selector, and a new lock washer to the support of the gearshift. Set the body of the switching mechanism, the heat shield and the exhaust system. After installation, check the cable.
