Transmission



It is forbidden to start the engine and the car towed if the gearbox Removing the cover or no oil in the crankcase.
Before you unscrew the connection, carefully clean them and adjacent areas.
Before connecting the transmission to the engine, make sure that all centering plugs are in place.
Put the removed parts on a clean surface and cover that they did not get dirty. For this use the film and paper. Do not use a lint-free cloth.
Install only clean parts. Parts removed from the packaging until immediately before installation.
If the repair is not performed immediately, gently cover part or close them.
When removing the gearbox attach the converter to prevent it falling.

Gaskets, O-rings and oil
O-rings, seals and gaskets can only zamyanit.
Before installing radial seal ring oil the sealing lip, and the space between the sealing grease.
Install the shaft seals the open side to the sealed cavity.
After installation, check the fluid level ATF.

ATTENTION
The treatment of oil should be orderly. Drain the oil must be disposed of in compliance with the adopted rules.

Bolts / screws, nuts
Bolts / screws and nuts for fixing covers or elements of the crankcase must unscrew and tighten crosswise.
Coat the threads of the bolts / screws, lubricated when tightening the clamp screw, clean with a wire brush. Before screwing on the thread of the screws need to apply a lock AMV 185 100 A1.
All threaded holes into which twisted self-stopped bolts / screws must be cleaned from the remnants of a tap holder. Otherwise, the next dismantling of the thread can be disrupted.
Self-locking bolts and nuts always replace.
