Ribbed Belts

Ribbed Belt drives the all units of the engine crankshaft pulley or damper. It is located around the units in front of the engine (Fig. 194). Ribbed belt has edges and a flat contact surface. Tensioner V-ribbed belt provides the desired tension at any time.

To remove the V-belt, loosen the tensioner, which screw bolt M8 (Fig. 195) into the hole ?�A?�. Tensioner will move away from the drive belt, and the belt loosens, then you can take it off. Before removing the V-ribbed belt carry out the following preparatory work: - Remove the upper part of the air filter with a flow meter; - Remove the solenoid valve with locking ring from the bottom of the air filter and remove the lower part of the air filter. Belt Installation: Apply it in the middle of running pulley and slowly remove the screw tensioning device. This take-up will begin to put pressure on the belt that will provide the required belt tension. After installing the belt, start the engine and let it work for a while. Check that the belt has been installed correctly and work well. In the presence of the air conditioner is equipped with two ribbed belt, one of them - to drive the compressor.
