Bearings rear wheels

The bearing housing of the rear wheel
Fig. 308. The bearing housing of the rear wheel: 1 - wheel bolt, 140 Nm; 2 - bolt 10 Nm; 3 - Disc; 4 - bolt wheel; 5 - a washer; 6 - wheel hub; 7 - a lock ring of the bearing; 8 - the wheel bearing; 9 - a bolt 10 Nm; 10 - reflector; 11 - bolt 10 Nm; 12 - speed sensor ABS; 13 - nut 200 Nm; 14 - a gear rim; 15 - bolt 110 Nm; 16 - a spring clip; 17 - clamp brake

Location wheel bearing shown in Fig. 308.
Remove the trailing arm, and then replace the wheel bearing. Before clamping the wheel bearing housing in a vise, remove the brake disc and the reflector.
Wheel hub wheel in the bearing housing is held by a bolt at the front and at the rear of the nut. Under the nut is a toothed rim which serves to receive the speed sensor wheel ABS. Filmed wheel bearing can not be used a second time, ie, Wheel bearings should not be removed, for example, to check its status.

A device for removing the wheel bearing or wheel hub
Fig. 309. An apparatus for removing the wheel bearing or wheel hub: 1 - an emphasis; 2 - wheel hub; 3 - long bolt; 4 - Wrench

After pressing off the wheel hub, remove the snap ring of the bearing and squeeze bearing. The inner ring of the bearing to the wheel hub is removed and as well as it was shown in Fig. 290 for the front wheel. Assembly in reverse order on the process of withdrawal. Fitting the wheel bearing and wheel hub flange in the wheel bearing housing. If there is no opportunity to use the press, the parts can be pressed into the housing of the wheel bearing the manner shown in Fig. 309. Although the figure shows a special tool, you can easily make their own similar device.
Always make sure that the snap ring bearing the village is well in place. Self-locking nut, like many other parts should be replaced. Hold the bolt in a fixed position, tighten its moment of 200 Nm. The housing of the wheel bearing must be harder for that hamstrung.
Wheel bearing may be replaced by a prescribed trailing arm rear suspension, but for removal and installation of the wheel hub, bearings and wheel requires special tools.
