Installation of the clutch

Setting the clutch is conducted in the reverse order with the following:

- If you are installing the old clutch, then make sure that all previously matched to labeling. The new clutch can be installed in any position, as it has not yet got used to;

- To align the clutch disc onto the flywheel is used, simulating the slotted end of the primary shaft gearbox, the mandrel VW 3190 (Fig. 230). For centering, you can use the old gearbox output shaft;

- Plate mounting bolts to the flywheel tighten crosswise and tighten them to 25 Nm. Thus the flywheel must lock the retainer in a fixed position. On HUNDRED ?�Volkswagen?� used for this lock VW 3067 (see. Fig. 230);

- After installation on the engine gearbox, check the quality of the clutch.
