Faults clutch

Possible malfunctions of coupling, their causes and correcting actions are presented in the table.
If the clutch is not fully switched off, it is possible with some effort, switching to higher transmission and reduced access to the nearest service station.
If the clutch denied in gear, then turn it off, reset "gas" and put the gear lever in neutral. If the transfer of the fuse, it is possible to give a little "gas" to the shift lever loose.
In order to drive with a faulty clutch, do the following:
- Turn off the engine and engage first gear;
- The starter and start the engine. The car will get under way from a place jerky as long as the engine speed is equal to the transmission. If the engine is cold, it must be warmed up before it, that he did not immediately stalled. On a flat road, take the second gear to the nearest service station;
- If you want to try to switch from a lower to a higher transmission, the trontes, as has been described, in first gear, and then increase engine speed about 1000 min-1. Slightly loosen the pedal "gas" and turn neutral. Then fully release the pedal "gas" and turn on the second gear. When aligning the rotational speed of the crankshaft of the engine and the gearbox shaft second gear on. If the time for changing gear was much, add a "gas", while including the transmission. Switching from low gear to a higher should be made only at low speeds by switching, thus, for example, to second gear about 20 km / h to the third gear about 25 km / h and the fourth speed gear by approximately 35 km / h. Include the fifth transfer is not likely to be required;
- Switching to a lower gear speed of the crankshaft of the engine to be increased in order to be able to play the next gear. Slightly loosen the pedal "gas" and turn neutral again and then "podgazuyte" while moving the shift lever to the position of the downshift.
The transfer should start without any problems. When you switch to a lower gear should also reduce speed in order to control the gear changes. When gnashing in the gearbox should be enabled again to check whether the transmission. Due to the transmission synchronizer should be included without further problems, however, have to do it with some effort.

Possible malfunctions of coupling, their causes and remedies
Cause of Failure
Remedy

Pulling the clutch
1. Defects in support of the engine and gearbox
1. Check and replace if necessary

2. Loose suspension Transmission
2. Tighten the bolts

3. Uneven clamp pressure plate
3. Replace the pressure plate

4. Misalignment gearbox input shaft relative to the crankshaft
4. Check the surface of the centering engine and gearbox

Slip clutch (clutch "slips")
1. Excessive wear of clutch disc
1. Replace the clutch disc

2. Seized piston of the working cylinder
2. Change the working cylinder

3. Loose diaphragm spring
3. Replace the pressure plate

4. Leaks working cylinder
4. Perform external examination

5. Hardening or lubrication lining the slave drive
5. Replace the clutch disc

6. Was overheating clutch
6. Set the original clutch parts

Not included or incorporated hard forehand (incomplete clutch - clutch "leads")
1. Seized hub slave drive on the primary shaft (dry or contaminated splines)
1. Clean the slots, remove all burrs, nicks, corrosion and re-grease the splines

2. Lateral runout slave drive
2. Check the clutch disc, straighten or replace

3. The clutch pedal when you do not reach all the way (increased free wheeling clutch pedal)
3. Adjust the clutch clearance

4. Air in the hydraulic clutch system
4. Remove the air (pumping) from the hydraulic system

5. Destroyed parts clutch disc
5. Replace the clutch disc

Unusual noises when you press the clutch pedal
1. Defect release bearing
1. Check, replace the release bearing

2. Beating the slave drive on the pressure plate
2. Replace the clutch disc

Increases and decreases noise during acceleration or engine braking
coasting or braking
1. The weakening of the rivets Clutch
1. Replace the clutch

2. Large imbalances clutch
2. Replace the master and slave drives
