Installing the cylinder head
Place the cylinder head gasket so that the top was visible inscription ?�Oben?� or "Top". Always install a new gasket; - For the proper location of the installation in places of fastening bolts "12" and "20" on the engine block inserted two guides; - Set the cylinder head and its Tap the plastic if a rubber mallet. To valves are not in contact with the bottoms of pistons, set the first cylinder to TDC and turn the crankshaft against the direction of rotation of 90 ?�. This ensures that all the pistons are positioned below the TDC; - Insert the bolts of the cylinder head and tighten them by hand;

- According to the sequence shown in Fig. 52, gradually tighten all the bolts of the cylinder head, first to 40 Nm and finally - 60 Nm; shown in sequence, insert the key in each bolt, noting the position of the capstan and tighten each bolt in one go exactly half a turn or twice a quarter turn;
Note To prevent damage when tightening the bolts of the cylinder head, use only special, multifaceted key, like a hexagon. |
- According to earlier put labels, put the chain timing on both the sprocket or adjust its position (see. Sect. 2.8); - Install the cylinder head cover with the gasket;
A warning Always install a new gasket. To avoid oil leakage, pay attention to correct installation of the gasket. |
- Install the upper intake manifold. First, connect the two halves of the pipe, and then Screw the brackets on the upper part; - The remaining operations are carried out in sequence, return to removal, guided by the figures for assembly; - After the completion of all operations pour the liquid in the cooling system; - Wear V-belt engine units and tighten it (see. Section "Electrical").
