Removal and installation of the parking brake cable
Removing rope pull the parking brake lever sequence is as follows: - Loosen the screws of the rear wheels, set the rear of the vehicle on the support and remove the wheel; - Set the parking brake lever to the lowest position;

- Loosen the adjusting nut 12 (Fig. 330), the cable 10 to the parking brake until the manual drive levers in the rear brake calipers will not depart until its stops; - Remove weakened the parking brake cables from the equalizer 11 and to the bracket;

- Disconnect from the mounts on the rear suspension (Fig. 331) the parking brake cables; - Disconnect the parking brake cables from the levers of a manual drive on the rear brake calipers. To do this, remove the locking collar and pull the rope against the spring tension and unhook the cable end of the lever; - Remove the cable from the rear suspension. Check the condition of the parking brake system. If found open, grinding wire rope looseness of terminals on or damage to the shell, replace with a new cable. The teeth of the sector and the latch must not be damaged. A lever must be securely fixed in position and move easily up and down. Damaged and replace worn parts. The installation of the rope pull the parking brake lever spend in the reverse order of removal. After installation, adjust the handbrake and tighten the bolts rear wheel torque of 140 Nm.
