Housing Switch

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Place the transmission in neutral, apply the parking brake.
2. Loosen the clamp (arrow). Connecting rod bracket-selection switch should be lightfast.
3. Remove the shift and gaiter.
4. Remove the frame with a cuff.
A warning

Contact surface and the stop switch housing are parallel to each other. If necessary, before you install the template VW-3258 align focus.


5. Set the pattern until it stops and tighten the screw (arrow).
6. Align without tension rod bracket-selection switch (box in the neutral position) and tighten the clamp to 20 Nm.
7. Pull the lever switch to the rear seat, loosen the screw and remove the template.

Verifying

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The shift lever must be in neutral transmission position opposed 3-4.
2. The lower part of the shift lever, below the bend must stand upright.
3. Squeeze the clutch to start the engine, wait for about 3-6 seconds to a drive shaft gearbox stopped, then repeatedly to include all transfers. At the same time pay attention to the job of blocking of inclusion of a reverse gear.
4. Install the frame with a cuff and a shift gaiter.
5. If the switch is turned on again at some transmission still bites, including 1 transfer.
6. Remove the gap in the drive switch, which when enabled, the shift lever 1 transfer with a force 2-3 N press the left arm of a thread switch. The gap (distance focus-focus shift lever switch housing) in this position should be: a = 1.3-2.3 mm.
7. Otherwise disable one transmission adjustment actuator and repeat.
