Designation of tires

Labelling of tires

195 - width of the tire in millimeters;
/ 70 - the ratio of height to width (cross-sectional height of the tire is 70% of the width);
H - Speed Class H: up to 210 km / h (

A warning

If between 14 and 81 is labeled S, then we are talking about a winter tire tread.

If there is no special designation of a cross-section relationship, eg 175 R 14 is talking about the "normal" ratio of height to width. It is at the tire belt is 82%.

The letter designation for the speed is the size of the tire. Symbol rate are important for both summer and winter tires.

Additional designation "reinforced" - strengthening the enforcement of the tire.
