Overview

Braking system VOLVO S40 / V40 hydraulic, dual-circuit with diagonally split brake circuits (one circuit includes mechanisms for the right and left rear wheels, the second - the other two), equipped gidrovakuumnym amplifier system and ABS Bosch, version 5.0 or 5.3. Wheel actuators - disc (ventilated front discs, rear not). Supports single-cylinder with floating caliper. The parking brake is a cable drive to the rear calipers, preliminary adjustment in the rear caliper.
