Replace the steering column lock



To replace the steering column lock: remove the steering column and install it
in a vice;
- Drill a hole cut in the bolt;

- Remove the bolts cut using a special tool 998 5447 or carefully pour; Remove the steering column lock (Fig. 7.31);
- Set a new lock and its mounting on the steering column;
- Tighten the two shear bolts until it locks the steering wheel in place;
- Put the cylinder;
- Check the operation of the lock;
- Tighten the screws to cut their heads;
- Set the steering column.
